Family Tree
Photobucket
This fun bunch met me at Innis Woods for their family session. Some had come in from out of state to come in for a special little girl's birthday party and just to catch up.

It all began with Kristine and John...

From L to R: Paul and Heather and their kids, Pace and Scarlett. And Paul's sister, Jenny and her husband Scott along with their children, Marcus, Zach and Taylir.

Poor lil Scarlett was not feeling well the day of the session and I really didn't bother her much cause I know she wasn't feeling it. She was cute in her little outfit. Just a shame she didn't feel better.

Remember those days when you were younger and would ride on someone's shoulders......those were fun days.....too bad we loose out on that kind of fun when we are adults....but then again, that's a good thing cause my back couldn't take it.
Photobucket
Marcus was being ornery for his photos, so I put him front and center...I think
he liked the special attention........
Photobucket
These two kept each other laughing thought out the session..gotta love that.

Despite some not feeling well, I think they all had a pretty good time. What a great way to celebrate visiting family by having a photo session!

Kaela
Photobucket
This little family and I met up recently at Jeffery Mansion for a session for Ms. Kaela. She's just turned 7 months old and growing up fast. She was such a happy baby....loved checking out the new surroundings and just getting love from her Mommy and Daddy.
Photobucket
Katie is sister to one of my clients that I photographed her daughter. So it's great to get to know another member of the family.
Photobucket
Kaela and her Daddy Eric.

Kaela was doing so good with her balance on the chair. I had Katie sitting
close by to catch her if she started to fall, but she didn't even flinch. Such a big
girl!
Photobucket
I just want to reach through the computer on this image and grab her to get
my baby fix.......
Photobucket
I had joked with Katie that in about 25 years she can pull out this photo when Kaela is getting married and do the same shot with the shoes she is getting married in.
Photobucket
Those colorful crunchy things on the boardwalk were just fascinating to Kaela. May have been a bit tasty too.....
Photobucket
Somebody liked her new necklaces....

Photobucket
Yep, everything goes in the mouth!
Photobucket
Kaela you were too adorable in your outfits....it was fun playing dress up with you!!

Marine In The Making......
Photobucket
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Kelly. She told me that her son would be leaving soon to join the Marines and they wanted to have some family portraits taken before he left. I thought that was such a sweet thing to do at such an important time in her son's life. We talked about where to meet up for her session and I couldn't hardly contain my excitement when she told me they wanted to have their session at their families farm in Waldo, Ohio. Not only was it a beautiful farm, but the old gas station still stands there today, weathered on a corner lot, surrounded by the fields of the country around them.
Photobucket
This is Brandon. He is 18 year's old and leaving for the Marines in just a few weeks. I have to say, when we were introduced, I was taken by how much a gentleman he was. He looked me right in the eye and he held my hand with a good firm hold. I think a lot is to be said for a small gesture like that. It's a bit rare in it's own.
Photobucket

Photobucket
The Station was originally opened in the 1920's by Mike and Nicole's great-grandfather, and was passed down to their grandparents in 1968 when it was used
strictly for farm equipment only until the 1990's when the underground tanks began to fail. It was said that their grandfather used to keep a bed tucked away in the store to keep watch over the tanks. You could find the giant candy bars and bottles of soda sold there back in the day for just $.05. Times have certainly changed. It's sad to see things that used to be fading from our memories. Such a rare site to see something like this anymore.
Photobucket
We had a lot of fun at this session and I was really starting to bum that the sun was going against me....it is that time of year now. But I was working as fast as I could to get everyone accounted for one way or another.
Photobucket

Photobucket
This is Logan who is 7, and his two sister's, Ella who is 2, and Kendall who is 1.
Photobucket
Corey is 17 and is a senior and Dillon is 16.
Photobucket
Mike and Nicole wanted to get a couple of photos of them alone cause they really didn't have a lot. That makes me happy cause everyone should have photos of themselves taken from time to time to document the years.....
Photobucket
Kelly and Mike having a little fun on the tractor.....
Photobucket
A clearly proud family........
Photobucket
The next couple of photos I just love.....and thinking about his proud parents, I can only imagine that his family will look upon photos of him often from the time he was just a little baby to the young man he has become. I was so happy to be able to give them something to reflect on.
Photobucket
Are you thinking what I'm thinking? He's going to look pretty darn good looking in his uniform!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Thanks so much for having me to your family farm and allowing me to spend some time with you and your family. And best of luck to you Brandon in your future and your career. I know that you have a family that stands by you and a country that is very thankful for you just the same!

Monica's Having A Baby!
Photobucket
I got to spend a morning with one of my favorite families recently for their portrait session. The first time I met up with Monica and Jon, they were expecting their little girl, Eva and she wasn't even showing yet, well, not that I could tell. So it's been nice to meet back up with them from time to time to see the progression. And now they are about to welcome a new addition to their family, any day now.
Photobucket

Photobucket
When Monica and I had talked about locations for their session, she told me what she was interested in and I did the rest. I found this nice little place off the beaten path. It was just as how I pictured it. Thankfully we did what we had to do and got out of there before we got caught.
Photobucket
Eva is now 2 year's old and has changed so much. She's such a cute little
girl.
Photobucket

Photobucket
Love it!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Look at that smile......doesn't it just melt ya!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Such a sweet moment between and mother and daughter.
Photobucket
Checking out the clouds going over head........wonder what Eva saw up there?
Photobucket

Photobucket
Eva was showing me her dance moves......
Photobucket
Eva is going to be a wonderful big sister. Can't wait to meet Baby G! Congrats!
