Chris and Laine
Photobucket
What better place to be on a gloomy gray day, but at The Franklin Park Conservatory. I met Chris and Laine there for part one of their engagement session. They wanted to do a split session of both an indoor location in the colder months and then the second half later in the year. They have both recently moved to Ohio and are now calling it home. The coming months have them planning their upcoming wedding here.

Chris and Laine moved here from Oklahoma. Having once lived in another state before, I can remember what it's like to be new to a town, getting your barrings and making it your 'second home'. But they seem to be doing a good job at it and are enjoying their new surroundings.

Love the bling!

This was their first visit to The Conservatory, so I was sharing with them some of the highlights and things not to miss. Always something new to see.....

We stepped outside for a brief minute, but the rain was starting to pick back up again..so back inside we went to keep dry.

One of the fun parts of my job is just sitting back for a minute and watching the couples just kinda forget I'm even there...when ever I start a shoot, I know they are overly aware of the camera and perhaps maybe even a bit too nervous, but as each session progresses, you see them loosen up and just shine through and it's always fun to capture that.

Chris had told me that he might need help in posing and such, but in all honesty, he didn't need it. He did just fine. Often I would just find these two caught up in one another and try and snap off a few photos before they moved. The more natural, the better I say!

It doesn't take much from Chris to make Laine laugh....she lights up every time she looks at him.

We are looking so forward to their wedding this summer, it's going to be a lot of fun. They are having a more intimate wedding at a home in Dublin, so we can't wait to be a part of their big day!! You'll see more of them later this spring before the big day Stay tuned!
