The Bowen House
Photobucket
Recently I had been asked by staff at The Bowen House in Logan, Ohio to do a mock wedding portraits session. This awesome old home is trying to get the word out there that they offer services for holding showers, parties, weddings, etc at their venue. So I rounded up my first couple, John and Julie, some friends of our's. We had the pleasure of shooting their wedding a few years ago, and since they have had a adorable little girl.....they were sweet enough to help me on this project (thank you!)

Awww....love it!
Photobucket
I'm so happy that John and Julie met and have created their little family. John has always kept me in stitches, and it's been great getting to know Julie better over the year's.
Photobucket
In addition to John and Julie helping me out.....I also got to work with LeAnn and Jeff for the first time. They were gracious enough to take on two parts of the job. Showing off The Bowen House and the fabulous works of Jennifer and Jason of The Ritzy Rose. Their business is taking off in huge ways and I'm so glad that I happened to come across her. I knew her products would be perfect for this setting.

LeAnn wore two awesome dresses for their part, thanks to La Jeune Mariee Bridal Boutique in Worthington.

The Bowen House Community Art and Education Center is a great venue for holding parties, or weddings and receptions. There is lots of spacious room in the house and a large front lawn. Built in 1831, the house had programs and classes each month for visitors to take part in.

I was so tickled to see the great props and beautiful bouquets that Jennifer brought. You can check out their website here: http://www.theritzyrose.com/Home.html From unique floral bouquets to colorful umbrella's, fun signs, and a list of other things....this is surely a site to check out if your planning for your wedding!!
Photobucket
How I wish these awesome bouquets would have been around when I had gotten married!

The different types of bouquets that The Ritzy Rose offer's are just so inspiring. It's amazing the pieces they find to make up a single bouquet. I can only imagine the fun they have in the search for pieces.

So I want to thank The Bowen House for having me be a part of this opportunity, it was a lot of fun. I want to thank John and Julie for doing their part and getting to spend some time with sweet Marie. I want to thank LeAnn and Jeff for also coming to help and being such great sports. Thanks to Le Jeune Mariee Bridal Boutique for allowing LeAnn to use your beautiful gowns. And a big thank you to Jason and Jennifer for allowing me to use some of your wonderful creations. It was great getting to spend the afternoon with you all!! Thank you!

Caleb And His Folks....
Photobucket
I got an e-mail months ago from Megan interested in getting some photos done. They were new to town and wanted to get some portraits done, but with the crazy winter we had, it just got lost in a to-do list. Finally with spring being here, we managed to meet up one afternoon at the park and cross that off her list!
Photobucket
Caleb was too funny.....he had such a bright personality.
Photobucket
He wanted a better look into the camera.........
Photobucket
Dan and Megan shared many a familiar story with me about their tot being a picky
eater and trying new things....felt right at home. Oh how we look forward to the day when there is an open menu!!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Love this shot!!!

Caleb and his mom were looking for the Bullfrogs making all the noise, but they were well hidden.

Loving On You:
Photobucket
It's funny when you have a set plan, but things don't go the way you had planned, sometimes things turn out for the better......which was the case when I met up with Sanam, Anup, and their little girl Sanjana. We were to have met at a park, but it was packed with no where to park, so I took them to Scioto Park in Dublin for their family session and all was well again.

Sanam and Anup were such a delight to work with, they just fell into cute poses without direction and had fun with each other, and Sanjana did her thing, looking
cute came natural!
Photobucket
Sanjana had some eye lashes to die for......for an 11 month old, she has it made!
Photobucket

Photobucket
I love capturing people just loving on one another....you can see that in these images how Anup just adores his two girls....
Photobucket
Beautiful girl......so lovely to have met you all.....thanks for trusting me that we'd make it happen, no matter where we went!

'Sweet And Sassy'
I can say without a doubt I L O V E my job. It's the first job I've never wanted to quit. It's the first job I've worked my hardest at..working night and day, literally around the clock. It's my second baby, if you will. I love the variety of things I've been asked to photograph, making memories for people. Over the weekend I got to celebrate with a special little girl named Cambell for her fourth birthday party at Sweet and Sassy at Polaris Mall.
Photobucket
Cambell or Cami as she was called looked super cute in her birthday dress....what fun!
Photobucket
Umm, hello......this family was so photogenic...a dream fam to work with.
Photobucket

Photobucket
Cambell's brother, Beckham was a natural in front of the camera as well. And he did such a good job posing with his sister.
Photobucket
How could I resist such cuteness?
Photobucket
After doing some family portraits, we made our way to the party and all of Cambell's friends arrived to celebrate with her. They all got dolled up in their princess dresses and had their hair and make up done and then put on a runway show and then some dancing.
Photobucket

Photobucket
After all that, the girls celebrated with Cambell by having some pizza and yummy birthday cake.
Photobucket
I was humored all evening watching Cambell make her way towards the cake when no one was looking. She was ready for her cake. I would see family members dive towards her to keep her little fingers away from the cake, however she made a tasty mark or two on the cake......it was after all her cake, so I suppose that's fair game. I think Cambell had a wonderful time with her friends and family around her. Happy Birthday Cami!

Meet Noah!
Photobucket
Getting to meet 9 day old Noah was the start of a busy weekend for me, so what better way to get things started than with an adorable little newbie! Love it! I loved his nursery all decked out in a fun nautical, island theme.
Photobucket
Noah really seemed to like belly time. He was just as content as could be. He was trying to suck on anything he could find, his hands, the rug. You name it.
Photobucket
Cute puckered lips.
Photobucket
Baby wrinkles...I love.
Photobucket

Photobucket
Shaina and Matthew were so good with comforting Noah and tending to his needs. It took me back to the memories of wondering how you are ever trusted with this little person, feeling like you haven't a clue what to do, but somehow it all works it's self out. They're going to do just fine.
Photobucket

Photobucket
All those months of anticipation and he's finally here!

Shaina's mom made this adorable blanket for Noah....what a great colorful piece for him to grow with and see all the different elements of the blanket. Great work Grandma!!
