The Bowen House
Photobucket
Recently I had been asked by staff at The Bowen House in Logan, Ohio to do a mock wedding portraits session. This awesome old home is trying to get the word out there that they offer services for holding showers, parties, weddings, etc at their venue. So I rounded up my first couple, John and Julie, some friends of our's. We had the pleasure of shooting their wedding a few years ago, and since they have had a adorable little girl.....they were sweet enough to help me on this project (thank you!)

Awww....love it!

I'm so happy that John and Julie met and have created their little family. John has always kept me in stitches, and it's been great getting to know Julie better over the year's.

In addition to John and Julie helping me out.....I also got to work with LeAnn and Jeff for the first time. They were gracious enough to take on two parts of the job. Showing off The Bowen House and the fabulous works of Jennifer and Jason of The Ritzy Rose. Their business is taking off in huge ways and I'm so glad that I happened to come across her. I knew her products would be perfect for this setting.

LeAnn wore two awesome dresses for their part, thanks to La Jeune Mariee Bridal Boutique in Worthington.

The Bowen House Community Art and Education Center is a great venue for holding parties, or weddings and receptions. There is lots of spacious room in the house and a large front lawn. Built in 1831, the house had programs and classes each month for visitors to take part in.

I was so tickled to see the great props and beautiful bouquets that Jennifer brought. You can check out their website here: http://www.theritzyrose.com/Home.html From unique floral bouquets to colorful umbrella's, fun signs, and a list of other things....this is surely a site to check out if your planning for your wedding!!

How I wish these awesome bouquets would have been around when I had gotten married!

The different types of bouquets that The Ritzy Rose offer's are just so inspiring. It's amazing the pieces they find to make up a single bouquet. I can only imagine the fun they have in the search for pieces.

So I want to thank The Bowen House for having me be a part of this opportunity, it was a lot of fun. I want to thank John and Julie for doing their part and getting to spend some time with sweet Marie. I want to thank LeAnn and Jeff for also coming to help and being such great sports. Thanks to Le Jeune Mariee Bridal Boutique for allowing LeAnn to use your beautiful gowns. And a big thank you to Jason and Jennifer for allowing me to use some of your wonderful creations. It was great getting to spend the afternoon with you all!! Thank you!

I am the media coordinator at the Bowen House. Could I possibly get copies of these to use on the new Bowen House website? Thanks!
