Erin: Class of 2011
Photobucket
This is Erin! She's a SENIOR this year at Watkins Memorial High School. She was so excited about her senior pictures, and even more excited to see some of them.......so without further a-do Erin, here's a peek.
Photobucket
I took Erin into the tall weeds to get some photos of her, I know she was hoping
I'd hurry, for the sake of snakes and bugs. Come to think of it, I'm not
real crazy myself about any critters with eight or more legs....
Photobucket
These next two images are the type that make me get my fill. They are
just as I had seen them in my head.....
Photobucket

Photobucket
Erin, you are too cute.......
Photobucket
We met on two separate dates for her session so we could get in different locations. This images have been at Slate Run Park in Canal Winchester. A beautiful park that hardly has a crowd. Felt like we had the park all to ourselves.

I loved the bright colors and the different outfits Erin brought along for her session.

Our other session was at North Bank Park downtown.

Have a wonderful senior year Erin! Hope it was worth the wait to see the photos!

Austin and Alex
Photobucket
It was a very bright Sunday morning when I met up with Austin and Alex on some of their family property in Ostrander. The boys enjoyed throwing rocks into the pond and running through the fields. I managed to get some them to pose for a couple of shots.
Photobucket

Photobucket
This is Austin.....
Photobucket
And his brother, Alex.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Alex always cracks me up, he's either making faces or gestures. He's a funny
lil guy!
Photobucket
The boys enjoyed getting their feet wet, playing on the rocks and wading
in the pond.
Photobucket
Put these two together and you don't know what your gonna get, but it'll surely be fun.
Photobucket
We ended the session at the old abandoned house on the property to get in
some shade. Afterwards, Austin and Alex rain back to the pond to get in a
little more play time before getting on with their day.

Boudoir Session
Photobucket
Back in May, I had a really wonderful day shooting the boudoir session of Anya, one of my brides from earlier this summer. It's such a creative outlet for me to get images in my head and run with it. We started off doing photos in a worn barn, to doing photos of her on an old, rustic brass bed in the woods....the hard part is not being able to share those images. Some images I am so proud of, one's I just really love.

For me, a Boudoir session is a private thing. It's meant for the client and whom they want to see, not the world at large. So I tend to not overly advertise this aspect of my photography. Anya was gracious enough to allow me to share with you two photos from her session. She rocked it!
Photobucket
I want to also add this: Boudoir sessions are a sort of art form. A respect for shape and surroundings. I do not photograph nudes. That's meant for only you and that special someone. I like to go with the idea of 'Leave something for the imagination'.

So for those of you who might consider such a session, you can contact me about it and we can discuss your session. I keep it confidential!

Charlie and His Family........
Photobucket
For me, the process of editing is always enjoyable, odd as that may seem. I get a chance to go through each session and find photos that speak to me, that I fall in love with. These two images above quickly stood out to me.......Charlie is celebrating his first birthday. Here is is with his Daddy, Scott and his mom, Brandi.
Photobucket
Charlie's big sister, Emily.
Photobucket
Standing so proud......look at that smile.
Photobucket

Photobucket
This session was done on a beautiful country property in Carroll, Ohio. The farm was just gorgeous. I could have spent a couple more hours there and still not been satisfied.
Photobucket
Alice in Wonderland is the thought that comes to mind with this image....
Photobucket
Emily goes to the same Gymnastics class as our son, so it was great to get to spend sometime with them out and about. She's too cute for words.
Photobucket

Photobucket
Emily enjoyed playing with the spiders. Did I forget to mention I hate spiders?
Photobucket
Charlie was full of expressions thanks to his Daddy. He was talking up a storm and giggling....gotta love the sound of that. Happy Birthday Charlie!

Waiting on Number 3
Photobucket
I recently had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family again. With a new addition
on the way, they wanted to get some family portraits before the new arrival, coming in September. Dave and Abby with their boys, Brock and Roman.
Photobucket
So the story goes.....I was at the salon one evening this past winter and I ran into Abby who also goes to my hairdresser and she told me the news that she was expecting again! What a wonderful surprise, so we planned it out that we'd do some photos before the baby came.
Photobucket
Brock and Roman are just too cute. I might be biased, but I love red heads...
Photobucket
Another boy will join the family in a few weeks......
Photobucket
I kept having Abby tighten her shirt around her belly cause she was so tiny. I wanted to see that little belly of hers!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Brock climbing the high bars......
Photobucket
And Roman wasn't far behind.
Photobucket

Photobucket
It was good seeing you all again. I'm looking forward to meeting your new baby boy!

Neighbors....
Photobucket
I had no excuse to be late to this session as it was in my back yard, so to speak.
Our neighbors wanted to have some portraits taken while family was in town, so I met with them feet away from my back deck. If only I always had it that easy. It was kind of fun being
able to just work with the area around us. Our neighborhood is nice and lush, and they have
a well manicured yard. Oh, pardon me for not introducing you to Charlotte and Marv.
Photobucket
Charlotte's son Andy and her daughter Jenna joined in for some photos.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
In the nearly five year's I've lived here, I've gotten to know Charlotte and Marv and
enjoy chatting with them from time to time. We tend to find each other in our gardens and catch up. Ephram loves to visit with their dogs, and he has given them nic-names. Marv is 'Buddy' and Charlotte is 'Mama'.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Andy works for the family business of Heston's Auto Service and Used Cars. A family
operated business over the generations.
Photobucket
Jenna was in town visiting from her new home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Photobucket

Photobucket
I have to say....I love this photo. It's more on a personal level since I know them. But given the fact that Marv and Charlotte enjoy spending time in their garden each summer, and that I look up to Marv and his green thumb. He puts my garden to shame. One day I aspire to have that perfect garden without the weeds, with plentiful crops and veggies galore.
Photobucket
At the end of the session, they retreated to the back deck with Jenna's dog Reggie. Much time is spent here just sitting back relaxing and having a good old chat. Days of summer, you can never get enough of those.
