Hanna Class of 2012
Photobucket
This is Hanna. She and her mom met with me at The Franklin Park Conservatory the other day for her senior portrait's. We took advantage of the sunny day and braved the bit of brisk air for some outside images before we went inside. Hanna enjoy's reading and brought a long some of her favorite books.

I think it goes with out saying that most are uncomfortable in front of the camera. Most want to get it done and over with, and Hanna may have fallen into that category, but you would have never known it. She was like a natural in front of the camera. She seemed to light up even more. She was spunky and knew how to work it.

I had to chuckle inside cause Hanna an her mom were discussing her outfit's an what she wanted to wear. She didn't want to wear her dress cause she said it didn't feel like her. I remember when I had my senior portraits done, I felt the same way. I didn't dress as I would normally and still to this day I look at them knowing it's not the real me, but in hindsight, I'm glad I did them as I did. It's what's on the inside that matter's. Not the attire. And I think that Hanna looked pretty classy in her dress.

One of the challenges with working at a place like the conservatory is getting the shot's without other guest's in them. I felt a bit like I was running Hanna around to find an open spot for a moment. But she went without complaint. And as soon as I'd take a few shots, boom, crowd of people. Moving on........

Hanna will be graduating from Upper Arlington High School this spring.

I had a fun time working with Hanna, she was a delight. Don't loose that spunk girl!

Kelly: Class of 2012
Photobucket
This is Kelly and her dog, Zoey. Zoey joined in for a few photos at The Park of Roses for Kelly's senior portraits. She wanted to see the park for herself, but Kelly kept her close and gave her some puppy loving before she was returned home.
Photobucket
Kelly is about to begin her senior year at Hilliard Darby High School in a few weeks.
Photobucket

Photobucket
Kelly was such a sweet girl, so easy to work with and such a bright personality. She just beams when she smiles.
Photobucket
We headed down to The Arena District for the second half of her session and the girl turned it up a notch.....she was working it!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Kelly wanted to get her portraits in before August cause she was going to be having surgery that would leave her in a cast for several weeks, so just in the nic of time we got it done.
Photobucket
Beautiful girl!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Kelly just kept giving me so many great, fun images, I didn't want to stop.

Tyler Class of 2011
Photobucket
This is Tyler. He's a senior this year at Watkins High School. He and his family are also good family friends and neighbor's to our family, so this was a extra special session for me to shoot.
We did his session in his own stomping ground, the beautiful acres are his home in Hebron.

Tyler was such a good sport about having his photos taken. I think we all know it's more for the parent's than it is for the students themselves....but I don't think it was
too horrible for him, was it?
Photobucket
I've gotten to know Tyler and his family over the last couple of years and they feel like
family. It's been nice getting to know Tyler and his younger brother. Our lil guy looks up to them both.

Photobucket
Tyler enjoys playing football and riding his bikes and hunting to name a few things...
Photobucket

Photobucket
Yea, me likey!

Photobucket
I made Tyler go up to the top of the barn with me for a few shots....although if I think back, I think he was making me climb up there against my own will....as I'm not a fan of spiders and un-railed stairs.

I have this thing I do before I have a session with someone I know where I get images in my head and this was the image I had for Tyler. I'm so glad to have had the chance to take your photos Tyler. Congrats on making it to your senior year and good luck to you in the days ahead!

Braden Class of 2011
Photobucket
This is Braden. He is a senior this year at Big Walnut High School. Like any senior, he is counting down the days till graduation....
Photobucket
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy Braden was to work with, he didn't mind having the camera on him, although I'm sure he was happy when it was all behind him.

Photobucket
We took a walk to the covered bridge at Slate Run Park for some of his portraits...and I just let him do his thing.....I'd say he does it well.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
'In just the white shirt?' he said to me......'Yea, just in the white shirt'. Something so plain, so simple, it's the person wearing it that can make it work.
