I met up with the Hay's family at Blacklick park this week to do a family portrait session with them.... Do you think Lil Mz. Evie is the center of attention?
Most of the time when I post photos on the blog, it is in the rush right after the shoot. When I finally have time to sit down and begin the editing process, things come out differently. Textures are one of those things I always do, but rarely blog, because they come after the fact. I love the look that textures can give a photo, esp. the vintage look. Textures give photos that extra kick.
Yesterday we went out to a farm in Croton to do some photos of some beautiful horses and dogs... being in the country with animals, what more could I ask for, I was in my ideal......
Marty and Ephram joined me on my shoot so that E could see the horses up close. He was so impressed with them and wasn't even scared as they got in his face, he's really into animals. This is Marley........... And this is Harley, both were rescues...that always makes me feel good to hear that...so many animals out there needing homes This is Nugget......look at those blonde locks....wow! And this is Indiana. This has got to be the most friendly horse ever, he was always coming right up on you and very loving....I wanted to take him home with me, but I don't think there would have been room in my car. Harley with one last smile for the camera!
Last week I had the pleasure of being invited by Marty's employer to a golf outting at The Phoenix Golf course to get some group images and just capturing them having a nice day out of the office. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, even if they weren't all regular players...
This was one of my favorite pics of the day....the clouds were so dramatic that day and it made for a great setting for a course sparse of trees.
Here is a pic of Marty, with the lovely industrial background, but all things considering, it was a nice course and a good time.
Last week was a hectic week with a sick baby and getting back into the groove and catching up on work, but I wanted to post a few more pics from our trip last weekend. Ephram loved watching the fish in the aquariums... As well as the view from our room, he loved watching all the commotion going on below night and day...
This awesome stained glass window I found at a church near our hotel, I loved how bold it was.
I just thought this was funny that you could actually buy canisters for those types of things
So we broke down an got Ephram a 'leash'. Mind you, neither of us are big fans of the idea, but it came in so handy. The boy loves to walk and run an in a big busy city like that, it was worth it. And I think he enjoyed the freedom from his stroller too.
