Last weekend we took a little road trip down to The Newport Aquarium for the day so that Ephram could see the fish. He's all about Nemo and loves looking at fish at the store. Who knew that back when I was planning his nursery that he would love the water so much and all that comes with it. I didn't want to do the cliche blue thing, instead his nursery was an Under The Seas theme, and some of his first words were the fish that color his room.
He wanted to be sure Daddy didn't miss anything! That's right, Mama couldn't resist the shot........... Ephram enjoyed his visit to the aquarium and seeing all the big 'fisssh' as he calls them....
With Valentines Day this weekend, a dear friend of mine thought she'd do a little boudoir session for her husband...she was on fire!
I am so feeling these shoes....they are a saucy little number.
I would love to share more of these, but that is for her husband. Boudoir photos is certainly a creative part of photography I enjoy doing, but I do find it to be a private thing as well and that is why I limit the photos that I blog on those in particular. There is something to be said that when you leave something to the imagination, it's far greater than if it was all out there, and that is what I go for. I look for that person's beauty to shine through, with a hint of skin if you will....and let the photos speak for themselves. You look FABULOUS!
As I look back over the months of photos I've been shooting of Dez, it's hard to believe he's nearing the BIG 1! He's loving to climb the stairs even though mommy and daddy might not approve, he's making his rounds and getting closer to walking every day.
Somebody has a birthday coming!! Well Hello Handsome Always has a smile on his face. I've always said that Dez is one of the happiest babies around..always in a good mood and smiling for me....never once breaking down on me... until now.......poor little guy is finally getting his first tooth in and we all know how that is, nobody feels good then, so he had a bit of a melt down. Felt so bad for the little guy. But daddy saved the day, giving Dez a Twizzler...they make everything better! Feels good on those sore gums!
This little guy is Wyatt and he is six weeks old. Funny story....originally I was to have done a maternity session with his mom, but Wyatt had other plans and arrived a few weeks early. Then we were supposed to have his portrait session, only to be rescheduled twice due to snow, and lots of it.....but I was bound and determined to get the photos before he got any bigger, and thankfully the weather gave me a break for a change! Love the little cinnamon bun navel...reminds me of my son's when he was a newbie...too cute! Catching some zzz's on the nice warm blanket. Ryan and Tracie holding their little bundle.... Pride Just chillin
He'll only be this small for so much longer...how fast they grow.
I love doing the newborn photos cause it's such a special time and one that goes so quickly. You want to be able to have that documentaion of how tiny they once were. I know from personal experience how meaningful that can be. Look at him staring into his mom's eyes. Proud
