Samantha and J.D. E-Session

On Sunday evening I was so happy that the weather had held out so I could get in an engagement session with Samantha and J.D. When we first met with them last year, we met them at The Cup O' Joe in German Village, so it seemed fitting to start their E-Session there.

Samantha and J.D. are getting married this September in what sounds like an

awesome wedding. I can't wait for the details of the wedding.....always a favorite.

I love shooting the engagement session cause you get to spend some time with the couple and get to know them better. You figure your spending alot of time with them on one of the biggest day's of their lives, you want to have some connection with them.

With any session, I'm always there to guide clients along as needed, but I like to also let

them do their own thing, so that they are more natural. Samantha and J.D. were good at

changing things up and just being in the moment.

We took a little stroll over to Fetch Park for a few photos before moving on down the road...I think we walked all of German Village. A beautiful night for a walk indeed.

Yea, you don't want to mess with Samantha! I found out she is an accomplished dancer, so having put J.D. in place with these high kicks, makes sense.

Aww yea.......got me some laundromat loving going on....

I've always said that couples that laugh together stay together....you have to be able to laugh through the good times and the bad......

We had a great evening with you both and look forward to your upcoming wedding

day!! It's gonna be grand!!

The Rain Is Not Going To Stop Us....

The weather greeted me this morning with a foul attitude, but I wasn't going

to let that dampen my plans for the day. My day started off with a early a.m.

shoot with The W family at their home in Lewis Center. Even the family dog got into it.

Sarah and her boy's, Cohen who is 2 1/2 and Brody who is 14 month's old.

Cohen was all about having his photo taken.....

Brody getting a little shut eye on daddy Kirk's shoulder...

Just beyond their backyard is this wonderful little area that consists of a small tree nursery,

some ponds, piece's of art and toy's for boy's......it was a great setting for a day full of gloomy skies.

Thankfully I was able to get in their full session before the rain started up again.

Sarah + Kirk= Gorgeous Babies!

Thanks for a great start to my morning. I'm glad we didn't get rained out!!

Meet Brady

This little bundle of joy is Brady. He was born just over a month ago, joining his big brother Lucas. He was just bright eyed and ready for his first modeling session.

Brady has a whole gang of friends waiting for him when he starts sleeping in his crib.

Randy and Trisha having some fun time with the boys.

Lucas made sure I saw his new play house in the back yard, as well as his skills at baseball, which he is getting rather good at. He was all smiles and having a good time telling me all about it.

Brady was just so relaxed and at ease, nothing got him upset. He was a very content and happy baby.

Congrats to you all on your new addition. You have two special blessings!!

Dapper Dez

Later Sunday evening I got to see my lil buddy Dez. I felt a little under dressed

as they came towards me all dressed up, looking fine! Dez had a full suit of his own that

was just too cute. Dave and Kerrie clean up pretty nice, don't ya think?

I think I have a new favorite Father-Son photo, wouldn't you agree with me Kerrie?

Dez was all about my camera this time....I hadn't seen him since his birthday in April, so

he was really checking things out and giving me the 3-D effect...maybe he'll grow up to be

a great photographer one day!

It's kind of an inside joke how many outfits Dez will get his photos done in while we do our sessions...but his mom and dad know how to pick some adorable clothes for a tot, so I can't resist

the fashion show myself.

Good seeing you all again.....enjoy your vacation!!!
